What You Can Do?

Speak up!
It is your right to be heard on issues that will affect your family, your property and your community.

Attend Public Meetings
Attend Planning & Zoning meetings and City Council meetings. Sign up to speak during the public comment period and let your public officials hear your opinions.

Planning & Zoning meetings are the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month.  The City Council meetings are the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month.  Agendas for Public Hearings can be accessed at least 2 days prior to meeting date on the City of Maryland Heights website.

Write a Letter to the Editor
Write to the St. Louis Post Dispatch or Suburban Journal stating your opinion.

Write or Call your Local Officials
Contact the Mayor, your City Councilpersons or the Planning & Zoning Commissioners.  Go here for phone numbers, email address and mailing addresses.

Call or E-mail MoDot
Regarding development in Howard Bend, MoDot will need to approve any added signaled intersections on the Maryland Heights Expressway, as they will eventually be responsible for maintenance of the roads. Express your views on your tax dollars financing an increase in traffic and pollution.  Go here for email addresses and phone numbers.

Discuss Development with Your Neighbors
Development activity affects everyone in Maryland Heights.  What do you want to see in your community?  Encourage discussion and become informed.
